This is a moderated text newsgroup providing a forum for the discussions
of the worldwide commercial airline industry. These discussions would
include, but are not limited to:
- Aircraft manufacturers, Airports, Airlines, Reservation systems,
Travel agencies and others which are a part of the airline industry.
- Industry consolidation, bankruptcies, paradigm changes at airlines
such as low cost carriers, hubbing vs point-to-point service etc.
- Security policies, government regulations and international
agreements and their impact on the industry and passengers.
- Discussion of airline industry management, including financial
performance, fleet planning, marketing, human resources, competition
etc.
- Passenger relationship and experiences with airlines and airports,
and how industry changes are noticed/felt by passengers.
All aspects of commercial aviation operations are welcome, from small to
large airlines. Contributions from passengers as well as industry
insiders are welcome.
